Default Help needed folks. Please

I hope someone can help me here, Im looking for a bit of advice on the differences between a MY02 and MY03

Im going to look at an STi today and the fella says its an 02 but with the 03 front, so I dont know if it is a late 02 model which can be a blobeye or if it is a bug converted to blob??

Is there any other differences between the 2 models that would help me distinguish which type it is

Not bothered either way tbh but it would be a good bargaining tool to help beat the price down a bit if it is a bug done up like a blobeye

Cheers folks

I have one of the first blob STi sold - Jan 03. To get an 03 front on an 02 car you'd need to at least replace the wings, bonnet, all the front and the lights of course. Can't see anyone going to that much trouble. I think bulbs would be different as well so there will be wiring changes behind the lights.

The first "blobeye" cars would have been released as MY03 which is roughly Oct 2002, I suspect it is a 52 plate. The rear lights are different as well.
