Hi,
Can anyone give me there thoughts on having a quick shift fitted, also I`ve booked it in for it`s 1000 mile serevice at Lancaster of Pangbourne, can they be recomended?

I looked at the quickshift (MY00) but the gain you get over the standatd 'throw' was minimal. The quickshift seems a good upgrade on MY98 cars and prior years. If you get chance try a P1 gearbox as the quickshift is fitted as standard.

Hi, I live in Finchampstead so there are only two dealers we can use, STG in Taplow, or Lancaster. I have my scoob serviced at Lancaster and have always found them to be really good.

I have the GGR lever in my UK MY99. It has made a very good improvement over standard and is supposed to be 10% quicker than a Sti quickshift. Having never handled an STi **** (car, not owner ) i cant comment, but i am very happy with mine compared with double the money for a Prodrive one (which apparently isnt even as quick as the STi one?)
