Default who has actually got one?

ive been reading many threads on this site and on other sites regarding dump valves and i can see that on here there is only one answer and that is dont get one but on other sites its a totally different attitude if people ask which ones best for example then people reply with which one is best but on here they dont, i havent got one myself but why is it like this on here? and who actually has one? have you had any problems caused by one or is it all just a scoobynet myth?

we've got one, replaced it with the original a few months ago, and we've had no problem with it. i think most people on here see them as being chavtastic, but i bet half of them have got them really

well if the standard one looks like someone made it in their bedroom then good luck to you, but thats what ours looked like and why we replaced it with a twin trumpet bov.

Who cares what it looks like. Its what it does that matters.

Found this to be the same on my previous Classic. For some reason it didn't like the BOV. Didn't see the difference until I put the oem one back on.

A lot of people run them with no issue. The debate will always rage on.

I just think dump valves really are too associated with chavyness for me to ever consider one..

MY01 : I fitted a HKS SSQV but removed it after a while as the car didn't like it much, esp on 'hard' gearchanges. Can sort of hear the standard recirc now that I've decatted.

Which other site seems to think they're good ?

Very nice craig. Also not a huge fan of green but thats something

I have a standard dump valve on my classis and it seems quite loud.
Anyone else find this
It runs fine and pulls hard.
