Default Should i use octane booster

STI RA 1996 Import i am using v power or tescos 99 should i also be using a octane booster, Have read on here that japan may not have had 99ron until after this year.

AFAIK all JDM cars were mapped to run on 100+ octane fuel. To be safe I would use octane booster on any JDM car until you have an ECU upgrade.

have run my 93 wrx on optimax,v-power and tesco without any problems (with no octane booster)

same here so far no problem m running a v3 on 96 octane but with a retune ecu
