Default found engine need advice

ive been offered a year 2000 uk spec engine with loom imobiser ecu for £800 only done 20000 miles ive got a 94 import with engine blown is this a easy conversion or not be gratfull for some help befor i splash out on it i think i might need to replace dash which aint a prob dont now about any thing else

Why would you need to change the dash to fit an engine,
you may come a cross with a problem with the engine loom as yours runs a 4 plug to ecu and the later ones run a 3 plug for the emobiliser you may need the keys to deactivate im sure someone a bit more techie than me will be along and confirm or put me right
you may do better in technical section as the right people tend to look their

interior loom is diferent dehind dash rather than splice into existing loom be easier to chane dash spedo is electronic as well

Couldn't you just source a new bottom end and oil pump? No need to mess about with ecu then.

Best to use your own heads and manifold therefore keeping your own loom/ecu
