I have a second hand STI intercooler but I think I may need jets

Its the same turbo as for any STi (UK 2ltr) so dont think its any different just because its out of a WR1.
I'd go with the above though, bigger injectors, STi intercooler, uprated Samco piping, fuel pump, look at the brakes as they may not be sufficient for the power either!

Tony.

If he puts the WR1 engine in a WRX & changes nothing else, what power would he have?

Put it this way, I've got a VF35 (WR1/STI turbo) in my 05 WRX, along with the mentioned mods (inc. IC/scoop/undertray) and a Bob Rawle remap and it made 332bhp at Powerstation today..

Also as Tony says, the brakes will definitely need attention at this level..! I'm running uprated pads, fluid and s/s hoses and TBH their at the very limit, definitely the weak point of my scoob. Hence some AP's (4 pot 330mm should do nicely for me without adding too much unnecessary weight.. ) are on the horizon..

Put it this way, there's not many cars that can give me a problem on the road..

Thanks guys. I will sell a kidney this week (blood group permitting) and way.hay I will look at the brakes. I have on order braided hoses and brake fluid. Only just changed the pads so will wait till after track time in April to change.
