cosworth technologies are owned by audi, not the same company as cosworth engineering owned by ford.
PS.from ford internally I am hearing that there are no plans for a focus cosworth
, only the focus rs to represent performance focus' and a new fiest st?? aswell. Also the StreetKA is going to be like a standard KA inside with no retro interior .

fastest jap car was a evo 6 340bhp @flywheel
fastest cossy a massive 517 bhp@flywheel
fastest scooby not sure on this one I think it was 290bhp@flywheel
it was an excellent day, and Mr Noble,put the escort cossy into the hall of fame for his rolling road,and could not belive it!!!

catflap: Cosworth tune the Audi RS4 Quattro. They gave Cosworth a 2.7 V6 Twin turbo engine, cosworth gave it back with 50% more power, its 380BHP now and does 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds!!!

Scooby Killer - shame on you!! The Evo 6 made 313BHP, not 340!! 
Mark, Craig had fuelling trouble, and didn't complete a run due to det' I believe. A shame as I was looking forward to that one, given his excellent sprint times.

I still cannot see why you lot still "slag" the cosworth range off
for,to be honest where was the scooby in the 80's to compete with the cosworth, you are compairing 80's technology against 90's,technology,there is a good ten years difference,and did you know that Ford was developing the Escort Cosworth, while they were still running Sierra 3 door(2wd) World rally Chapionships,and before the 4x4 Sierra,the reason being,the MK2 Rs 1800 Escort had alot of success in the world rally championships,and Ford Stewart Turner wanted the same wheel base as the MK2 Escort,but with 4wd,and that is how the Escort cosworth came along, the frist proto type was made it had a cosworth engine in it Red top tuned by Mount tune!!On the 15 september 1990 it went to the the rally of Spain Telverara, the frist time out it won the rally !!! With Carlos Saints driving it, it was more nibble than the Sierra,better handling than the Sierra,so you see!! that is really only a shortend Sierra!! 4wd with an Escort body over it!! one other thing Rs 200 do I have to mansion that Monster!!! There is no match in comparison,and there will be no scoob to match that Beast in Group B form The Rs 200 evo

Lets face it I gonna have to buy an Escort Cosworth soon as it looks like the last great fast ford for a while. If ford cant see money in it, it wont happen ie:focus cosworth. My cousin has a Scooby Turbo but it doesnt "look" that special (too many), and lets face it with more speed cameras/technoligy ever day looks are becoming more important than driving - Time for that 1.2 Nova with the Evo 6 vent

Take Bondy's saff, 30bhp less than craig's and its as fast if not faster in a straight Line, and would destroy scoob's with the same bhp. So all this technology ain't really worth alot this is it.
Makes you think don't it, it takes a good driver in a cossie to come close to the average driver in an impreza. Scoobs are very forgiving and easy to drive, i guess thats where the technology is really.
Take the REVS day....scoobs won.

Cossies are great machines.
Having owned both, it also annoys me that people slag them off! - lets face it they are both excellent performance cars and should be receiving praise not a slag off session. So what if its a Scooby forum, respect where respect is due!
Coosies are easier/cheaper to mod
The only downside now is that they look ancient, and hence the reason I moved to a Scooby - a decision I now regret....
