On spec no real diff (except for ltd editions, water spray etc.)
the 2 door however, will be more rigid in the body dept. having less openings. handling will (flame suit on) be similar and u would prob not notice any diff, (unless your name is Richard Burns )
personal choice would be the 2 door although no very practical.

I am looking at buying my first scoob and have seen a nice looking 2 door STI for sale.
Is there much difference between the 2 and 4 door scoobs? (handling & Spec)
Regards

Hi mate I own both machines mind u they are completely different in the fact that ones a 95 4door siler which is brilliant and very practical and the other a 2door in Sonic Blue they are both evry practical and the handling is no different. the 2door does feel a bit stronger and doesnt flex so much but the pain in the backside is the passenger seat is the only seat which gives good enough access to the rear so if you have a few mates that go out then the poor sod in the front is always jumping in and out of the car. Alot of the owners also reckon the front passenger seat doesnt have a system that remembers where it was before it rolls forward then slides forward to over come this just slide the seat back first then roll the backrest back. If i had the choice i would go for the 2door as it looks good but for practicallity the 4door makes a better choice because i also have a 5 month old daughter and it can be quite awkward for the missus to sit in the back of the 2door and sometimes she gets car sick as the view forward isnt the best with child in back in car seat and the dark tints at the back which i am led to believe are standard can make it a bit dark.
