I have a late MY97.

Have a look at http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm

Basically in 97 they put in better seats (not recaro's but very good non the less). Restyled the bonnet, smaller turbo and put a 60 litre tank in place of the 50 litre one.

There are other things probably but they'll be in the FAQ

As for prices, check the "for sale" section over the last few months. You can also use http://www.parkers.co.uk/.

I brought my Scooby from a post on Scoobynet. Paid the price that Parkers suggested for a "fair condition" car. Mine was completely standard, even down to the 15" Subaru wheels
I've since spent a few pounds on it upgrading the brakes and having P1 wheels and Backbox on it

Matt

I've just spent the last six weeks looking for a car on the BBS, found one in the end that had been for sale since the summer. The point - it's well worth looking back and checking if people have actually sold the car, they might just have got bored of advetising it. Most people here don't want to sell the car afterall - good luck and take the usual precautions of getting it checked over...
