What ARE EVO spouting now?
Rolls Royce, Mercedes, Ferrari etc are globally more recognised as a marque alone....
I've only seen one Impreza in spain, and it was an old 2.0GT (equivelent to a sport). None in SA, none in Italy, none in Greece, none in Turkey, none in timbuktu etc, nore did I see any in Malaysia or Thailand and WRC followship isn't exactly that large either. Yes, a very global marque, well done EVO.

The angle they were going for was that the impreza sits in the same section of the market, and sells to the same "type" of person (those who have amniesia every time they visit a petrol station presumably) regardless of where its sold.
Unlike the Mondeo (one of Evo's examples) which sold to reps and families here as a decent mid-level car, and sold in the US to people who had only just climbed the propety ladder from "Cardboard Box".
