either he needs the money, or indeed he has no idea of what that plate it worth...
usually when your on registration sites, the 3 digit plates go for £1000s and £1000s

I heard that it was a dealer that had this plate as it was on a 22b with a very small amount of miles on it. He sold the 22b to someone and the plates was mentioned in the deal for an extra 17k! so i was told by someone who knew the guy that bought the 22b last year.

The guy running the Ebay auction reckons he bought the plate at auction in 98. And that 22b in the pic is an import not a UK car by the looks of it.

No it's a Type UK alright (crystal headlights)
It just has the driving light covers on instead of they surrounds. They all had a spare set of these in the boot when new:

do it. the 22b is the king. id love to commission one of those beasts for my portfolio. never actually seen one in real life, only the cars with "replica" kits on them.

A Sport quattro would be my Group B of choice. There was a David Sutton tweeked one for sale last year that I would have liked but I'll have to wait until it comes up again..

Thats my car parked next to the 22b with the above mentioned plate. One of the scottish members owns the car. When buying his 22b the guy selling it wanted almost as much for the plate as he was asking for the car. Needless to say i dont think he bought it.

In his replys he say he can't remember how much he paid in 98. Then another he says he paid 8k plus vat......... ??????????
