i am an mlr member too(as i love them both and had an evo aswell ). just left the tit a little message... we all love our cars... he is bocoming an evo snob...sad state of affairs really !!

Looks like hes been put in his place by his peers.
For the record I like EVO's and test drove a EVO6 before I settled on the 03 STI. For me ownership is to stay close to the rally culture as I cant afford to compete these days and I respect others that drive these type of cars, EVO's ,Cossies and such and always give a friendly Nod or wave.

Look on MLR quite a lot as i like Evo's as well as Subaru, but although i find the site interesting i feel most on there are up themselves when it comes down to the Impreza.
Both cars are out the same mold and it just comes down to personal preference at the end of the day

Sadly I`ve waved at other Scooby drivers who dont way back!! New age and Hawkeye normally............... 
Some drivers with newer cars do not appear to understand what driving a Scooby means............

As his mates with EVOS say, both cars are from the same mould.
Who started this mould in Rallying with Mr Macrare &Co in the first place??
SUBARU,that's who.
It has to be said that, Subaru have let EVO'S catch up and perhaps overtake, ( The SN Enthusiasts have tried to point this out to SUBARU).
However, if we are to beleive the splurge about the new Impreza, out in Nov 07, the game is about to move on.

I always wave for the following reasons:
1) Its sociable to when seeing another scoob owner (obviously shares the same passion in cars)
2) You get slated on here if you don't...
3) Because if people spent more time acknowledging other people in life, the world would be a happier place.......actually thats rubbish, I just wave cause im a sheep and everybody else waves.......

Agree with you mate don't understand why people that you don't know or never speak to wave just cause you happen to own/drive the same car. Don't get me wrong i know Subaru have a cult status in the motoring world but you wouldn't wave to someone if they had on the same trainers would you. I do how ever wave to people that I pass on a often basis but thats out of courtesy

I saw a white Evo in traffic the other day and thought I'd give the owner a wave and see what his reaction would be. The bloke's face lit up -bless him- and he returned the compliment with quite the most enthusiastic wave I've ever seen. 
Perhaps more amusing was the look on the face of his GF sitting next to him though, who's expression said it all: Sad Gits!!
We all love performance cars; nothing wrong with a bit of banter, but keep it friendly; we're all on the same side!!
