Default milltek anyone??

has anyone on here ever had a milltek exhaust?

used to have one on my mk4 golf turbo it gave good gains along with the re-map and there not loud, just wonder what there like on the subaru's?

yep - on my second system now. Your summary of them on the golf applies here as well

Several of the performance packages for newage fit a milltek system eg Powerstation

I have the powerstation stage 3 setup with a full 3 inch system (miltek)

and its very quiet compared to my STi genome exhaust, but gains outway the noise loss bigtime

Where do you get an STI genome from only seen them on cars from USA

They seem to becoming a popular exhaust now for Subaru's.

They had a stand at the recent Autosport Show, and to be honest I thought the quality of the exhausts looked very poor, especially the welding on the ends of the backboxes.
I'm not an expert welder but I could have done better myself.

I'd be looking at other exhausts, not Miltek

Will be slightly louder especially on motorways but not that bad. Had a Scoobyclinic one but had to keep taking the bung in and out so just replaced the whole thing with a miltek, looks better, fits the car better and I got 15bhp more from it (after remap with Powerstation). Car is my53 sti

Im fairly sure Japanparts.com sell them now,

It was already on my car when it came over from Japan!

have one on my 02 STI turbo back with sports cat and it ran 289.7 a couple of weeks ago at Scooby clinic.
