Any number of previous threads on this. On my Spec D it was the rear window retainers which were cut off by the dealer. Problem solved.

They are small pins used to locate the rear window when it is installed and they can become loose; which is why it rattles.

It's a well known problem. There is a Subaru issued download available to dealers on this problem, or at least that's what my dealer told me.

I had mine fixed at the same time as the 1000 mile service.

Depends on how good you are at taking out and re-installing rear windows.

It's a fairly quick job done under warranty so no problem. Make sure they get all 3 pins.

I think I have the same rattle, sounds like its coming from the rear nearside sealtbelt mount. Not that loud really so I will put up with it till the weather picks up.
