Default spec differences

sorry for my ignorance but can someone please confirm the following details:

1 what size engine does a 06/07 spec C /RA have
2 if the spec c has a 2L engine if you were to get it spec'd up to a type 25 don't they require a 2.5L first and change the relevant bits,
3 what is the tuning possiblities of a 2.5 compared to a 2L.

regards

1. 2.0l.
2. Yes, the Type 25 now gets a completely new 2.5l engine from Cosworth.
3. 415/420 comes as standard with the new T25.

Depends on whether your comparing a standard 2.5 against a standard 2.0. In that case the 2.0 would have more tuning potential, especially the JDM unit cars with their stronger cranks, better heads and more aggressive cams.

what about the tuning capabilities of the cosworth 25 engine on the web site it says up to 800 bhp how far could you go before it becomes to much for normal road use.

just interested to know i'm sure 420/415 is more than enough for most people including me.
