ninja down pipe
I have a ninja back box and de-cat middle pipe on my Impreza AWD turbo and thinking of adding the ninja down pipe with sports cat . Does any one know weather this will improve performance? and will it make the car sound louder?? cheers

Reckon there's only a few bhp difference between the decat and sportcat downpipes. Main difference is the purchase price. New decats for £180, sportscats for £300+, but worth it.

I fit a Ninja Sports cat just before Xmas. Noticed quite a difference and i already had on a TSL de-cat (2nd cat), straight through centre pipe and a Ninja Backbox. It did overboost though, it would hit 20 PSI then drop to about 16PSI but the power difference was pretty good and you can hear the gases flowing through the pipe from with in the car, damn weird!
I then had it remapped by Andy F mid January and it's a different car totally. Really happy with it now as i kept thinking before it was never really all that quick. (02 STI).
