Default Hi, im new

hey people, just joined n wanted to say hi to every 1.

dont own a impreza yet, but lookin to buy 1 as i feel im out growing my starlet turbo.

either lookin at a wrx or sti (s1)

oh yeah n i have a few questions about the type ra's... thought these all come with red top engines? just that ive seen a few cheap 1's with silver manifolds, doesn't all red tops have red manifolds?

and what insurance groups are the wrx/sti/type ra's?

cheers guys

Hi i got 03 sti, must admit it's the best car i have ever had the insurance is a group 20 not including any mods you do to it, the road tax is one of the highest, and the buzz you get from driving it is worth every single penny !!!
If you do get one get it belled up as there are plenty of ******* like them to.

welcome Clarkie GT ,
starlet gt ??????????( oh dear) never mind your defo making the right move looking to get wrx or sti , but be warned the running costs compared to your toyota will be high , insurance can be high but generally not that bad, mpg's toddling around not good, mpg driving with enthusiasum even worse, but this aside once youve own one theres no going back, there addictive,

sound mate, thought as much.

i loved my little starlet. cheap tax, cheap insurance, 50mpg when u drive sensibly and 0-60 under 7 secs(some people claim 6.1) 130bhp standard, 180bhp for under £500 and a possible 250-280 bhp for around £1500. fair enough, no traction due to fwd but weighing less than a lotus elise its a quick car.

know a lad with a 330bhp starlet, seen a video of him beating a 380bhp evo, obvisously from a rolling start. wouldn't stand a chance else.

but still, at lease i aint got a saxo/corsa/clio

make sure you close all your savings account as you would never use them during your ownership of the impreza!

they maybe cheap to buy but they are still super cars
