Even better, are there any web sites that can tell me where they are on the A1/M1 say from Newcastle down past loughbrough? Think a friend may be in a bit of trouble here.

Temporary 50mph Specs on the M1 in both directions in South Yorkshire I think. I drove though them yesterday.

ditto simon. when i went down cambridge from scunny to meet alloy the other weeks, there was loads on the A1(m). all over the place. police vans, and gatsos alike.

Think there's some around the M1/M18 junction in the roadworks there (50mph limit), but am not sure whether they're on the northbound side or the southbound side. Colleague at work drives past them commuting from Sheffield every day. Can't ask him as he's already gone home.

we spotted quite a few on the way back up north on tuesday but none on the way down south on monday night i guess they would have been there on monday as well? from what we can remember there was no average speed signs up going down south but coming back up north we saw them straight away and it was the roadworks were they were.
