I went through the same problems when i tried to import one. i wanted to import a GTB limited but the law stopped me. If the car is post 97 you will need a UK vehicle report (which does not exist for a GT/GTB) anything pre 97 and post 95 i think can be imported and will need an sva test mot and registration (fog light fitting and a few other bits and bobs) Anything post 95 can be imported and just stick an mot on it and your away no sva test.I managed to find a white GTB in london in the end so never bothered with the import process.(THE ONLY COLOUR TO HAVE IN MY OPINION ANYWAY

Is yours a wagon?
A white Legacy wagon with blacked windows passed me near J49 of the M4 one morning a couple of weeks ago, gave him a flash as I pulled off the motorway.
Looked very nice whoever it was

Were you in my area a couple of weeks ago at about 8.30 in the morning? On the M4 between Pont Abraham services and the Llanelli junction?
I was in a wr blue blobeye with tints.....a bloody big coach pulled straight out in front of me just before you got behind me!
