It only helps you get the power down, not scrub off speed; don't learn the hard way!!

It does get pretty bad out here near bolsterstone, but nothing like it use too!
One of my work buddy's(age unknown around 96 ) tells me tales of the winter that was 1963,he tells me penistone was cut off for 2 weeks
These days we just have to avoid the odd icey road and a few inch of snow,it can get pretty dicey up here, but its just hazardous,i havnt seen 8 foot drifts for a few years
Shame i was looking forward to some sledging with the little lad

Just remember 4WD will help get you up the hill, but it will be of no use getting down the hill!
It only helps you get the power down, not scrub off speed; don't learn the hard way!!
nearly found this out the hard way last night!
snow like mad up here in shetland i thought excerlant get the scoob out and play. how dissapotted (sp) was i car seems no use in the snow what so ever i think it must be somthing to do with the 18" alloys having wide tyres on.
oh well back to the gf saxo vtr with winter tyres on

Ive got 18's on mine with toyo's which are sh!te in the wet never mind snow and it tackled a hefty hill last night no worries, it was a proud moment, the old boy was having issues in his rover heap and i just sauntered past, loved it, 60 mile smile
