I'm looking at buying a centre dash-top 3-gauge pod for my MY98 WRX. I'm sure that mine is the 'facelift' dashboard - it has a passenger airbag and centre flip-up box. The seller of the pod I'm looking at reckons it's for 99-00 only and not for MY98. Surely all the classic facelift dashes have the same size centre box? Any help appreciated.

If it has the centre box thingy it will be the same size as the MY99-00

I don't think you will have a problem, it just that 98 was the year the classic dash changed to facelift. All 99-00 defiantly had the facelift dash.
There may be a few cars that did not get the change of dash in 98?

If you have any pointers to a wavy centre gauge pod to suit 60mm gauges I would be interested. I have searched for a few centre gauge pods but they are all expensive. I have seen 1 or 2 on ebay at around £30 to £50 (cheapest) but then you have posted & possibly custom duty etc.

So far it looks like jw racing pod for me unless something else could beat that price.

Mostly I've been looking on ebay. There's a group buy on gauges going on at the moment and I've just sorted out a deal for everyone on sender adaptors. The fella who's doing the adaptors also does centre dash pods and DIN plates for gauges and I'm waiting on a price back from him. Not sure if you've seen the GB thread already? But anyway, that's where I'll be posting any news I have.
