Default sticker removal

i have a new wrx sticker for the back of my 93 wrx as the old one is faded, what is the best way to get the old one off without wrecking the paintwork? any help please, thankyou, and could it be possible that the paint on the tailgate could have faded so when i remove the old sticker you can still see it was there because that bit had not faded? it is dark metallic green

hair dryer then tar remover (small amounts or it will damage paint) Hot soapy water then to get rid of the residue.

why do they not work

a hair dryer will soften the sticker and the glue, other than straight peeling off the the sticker you dont have much other choice

ask JohnWRX from here, he has been doing and supplying stickers for many years, and he swears by kfc wipes for removing residue glue

A quick squirt of WD40 or similar works for removing residue, wipe off with kitchen paper towel.

Hair dryer to warm the sticker up and then peel very slowly... this brings off most of the glue also. I find that if you try and peel quickly you leave more glue on...

I also use WD40 for removing the residue.. works a treat!!! I will however try the KFC wipes... thanks for the tip!!!!
