Default Sorry Guys - Whats it worth thread.

99 V5 STi Type R.

Absolutely Mint bodywork and interior. Full Scoobyclinic system. Fully refurbished 17" Speedline wheels.

HOWEVER - Needs bottom end rebuild! Still runs but smokes badly and knocks.

Really, really don`t wanna get rid of this car, but due to circumstance out of my control the rebuild is going to be ages away, and the car is too good to leave sitting in a garage racking up who knows what bills to get it road worthy again Spent over £11K on the motor, no idea what it would fetch whilst needing a rebuild but i may have no choice but to sell it and start again with a fresh car in a couple of years.

Selling this sort of car with a dodgy engine is alway going to be difficult.

I do not know where to start pricing it but what i would do is get a couple of quotes from reputable engine rebuilders to get the work done so you can be armed and ready with answeres to what is likely to be the first question or two
"What is wrong with it and how much to fix it???"

Selling a car to the general public with a U/s engine is never going to be easy.
