Default 04' wrx sti wagon

So i'm looking to buy and I have a 04' wrx sti wagon that I'm seriously considering. I'm new to subaru's but live here in a snowy part of the US so I'd like an awd and subaru's sure fit the bill -- not to mention fun. My question is if any of you have ever heard of an sti WAGON... I cant find info on it anywhere and if you guys have any pictures of one I'd love to see them. Any other advice on the car or subarus in general would be greatly appreciated.. thanks for your help

Default Could be mistake but......

Could be mistake but I think the last STi wagons were bugeye models in 2000 (or was it 2002?)

I've got an 04 PPP wagon and I'm pretty certain that there was no STi available.

Dave.

Your right, no such thing

They made a limited number of Bug eyes and thats it. A shame really as it would have been cool if they had a limited run of them in the blob eye and especially the new "eagle" eye lol

See I cant find any info on it either.. but.. I'm getting the car from a dealer I personally know but it's 250 miles away and I havent seen it yet. The dealer found it and my dad went to look at it for me and says "on the papers it says 04 wrx sti and its a little wagon" so now I'm confused.. I'm going to get it even if its only a wrx -- looking forward to the drive back!

subaru seem to make many diff versions of Impreza few of which are available in UK. So could well be WRX STI Wagon made for US market.

04 Sti wagon now that would be interesting to see.

As above possibly a US model. I've seen Jap bugeye Sti's but never a blobeye.
Have a look on the NASIOC there may be a mention on there.

I've got an 02 Jap bugeye STI wagon and have always heard that it was the last year they made STI wagons. As others have said, it may be a US-only model, but seems a bit odd as surely other countries would have seen them.

2001 and 2002. The GGB model was deleted when the MY03 was introduced.

You couldnt have found any pics of a genuine sti wagon as you describe. Maybe a Sti transplant done on a WRX, UK Turbo or NA wagon but no way can it be a Sti.

Trust me on this one, I love my wagons. If there was a blob eye wagon i would be the first to buy.

Plus if there was such a car made by subaru, someone on here would have had or known someone that had one

get a free account with photobucket and upload the picture, im very curious now

None of them blob eyes are Sti's let me tell you that for certain.

Just one dude has the sti badge on the back of his wagon but nothing else indicates a Sti. At least it would look like a saloon sti from the front i.e. Sti fog lamp covers, grille badge etc etc. Also the car is not red top i.e. manifold painted red. Yes it could have flaked off but not that quickly for a car barely 3-4 yrs old.

The only sti i see on that page is in post #10077. Black classic sti wagon, identicle to one i had

anyone else like to add something?

it's not an STI.

-no rear brembos
-no STI engine
-no 6 speed gearbox
-no STI interior
-no blah, blah,
