I'm sure some of you chaps and chapesses will have had your windows tinted. I can't be ar$ed to hunt around on the web looking for places so I need to know, any companies that do this, the cost, the quality of finish and any sites that are worth a look.

I'm getting mine done on the coming w/end from Autoshades in Surrey - www.autoshades.co.uk

£120 for rear 3 windows - Midnight colour tint.

It comes with a guarantee and they also remove the stuff if/when you come to sell the car (at a cost).

Got mine done by a company called "Bishopsgate Autotint" there in rickmansworth somewhere..sorry lost the number..they are well worth a call and they will collect the car on a transporter and bring it back the following day.

Karlos i've been thinking about it too, I think ill go for all the windows, itll be on a Terzo so i think itll look fine.

Confession time, I don't have a scooby but a Volvo T5. It seems there aren't any Volvo forums that have the kind of response this one does. Plus I love reading all the drivel that you all run on about, cracks me up

Anyway back to the subject, the cars silver so I don't see tints being a problem. I do however have this fear of looking like a boy racer, so i'm a little apprehensive of how dark to go, and how many windows to have done.

Do they charge per window or overall coverage and whats the situation regarding plod and there feelings towards window tinting??
