Standard RB5 had the same ECU (I think). RB5 WR has Prodrive PPP ECU.

Would a RB5 have the same ECU as a MY00 ?

I thought the MY99 (ie RB5) and the MY00 had slightly different ECU's - Could be wrong though!

Ian is right. As for the MY99 and MY00 ECUs being different read this thread and read Bob Rawles posts.
