Default Newbie with a problem.

Hello guys,I'm a newbie to the site. I have a 97 wrx import with a few mods on and I am experiencing a problem when driving it.It starts when I am doing about 70 or 80 mph and the car judders and a constant whooshing sound from the blow off valve, the accelerator pedal is on the floor and I have temporary loss of power then I get the power back and it seems to boost in one go,I also use alot of fuel when this happens and it gets progressively worse and black smoke comes out of the exhaust. Then if I leave it for a while it starts and drives alright for a while and the same happens again.Could it be fuel cut due to over boosting.Would much appreciate any advice you all could give me. Many Thanks Mark.

You are probably 30 - 40 miles away from Powerstation 'here' PowerStation best to go to a tuner and get them to check it out
