Default Bug eye pic request

Can those with the bug eye post pics of their cars here, as I may very well buy one of these babies this weekend, and hoped maybe more pics will sway me (cant stretch my budget to the blob eye )

Also, what is the 0-60 on these?

Cheers guys

What's your budget Boobiman? I am considering selling my 02 Bugeye WRX with PPP and need a quick sale. Not sure what price yet as only made up my mind in the last few days so not looked into it yet.

Re your question. Not sure exact times but use the search feature and there is lots on here to answer your question.

Bugeye WRX PPP biggest buck per bang possible to buy OEM "off the shelf" IMHO.

Bugeye WRX was 5.9 secs, WRX PPP was 5.4, STi was 5.4 and STi PPP was 5.0.

Thats from the brochure infront of me.

In reality its more like (in same order) 6.4, 6.0, 5.8 and 5.5, although some magazines had the WRX PPP as low as 5.0 and the STi PPP down to 4.6!

Prodrive quote the 03 WRX PPP as doing 4.8 sec's 0-60, 14.1 sec's 1-100, however that's on a car with 265bhp instead of the 240bhp on the first PPP Newage WRX (ASFAIK). Never seen a tested figure of 6.0 or above. The few roadtests of the PPP'd cars I've seen suggested that the figures were reasonable.

Heres mine, I added the items on the roof for a little more downforce. I still have no idea why I have not been spotted yet, It's not as if it doesn`t stand out.

Cheers mate, lets just say the wife has a big compulsive obsessive disorder when it comes to the scoob, I think I'm a lucky man to have a wife that fanatical about my car. Her hand bag contains, claybar quick detailing mist, and six micro fibre cloths Never leaves home without them

Stunning cars on this thread.

Agreed that 01/02 cars are definately the performance bargin all considered.

As far as 0-60 times go I can confirm that *without* a big clutch dump you can knock them out in 6 seconds all day long... dial in 5,000rpm and launch it properly though and under 5 seconds no problem - but that is not what i'd call showing 'mechanical sympathy'.

Martin Baker never made a mk13 ejector seat, for probably the same reason.

Sign up to someone like photobucket.com, upload your pic and then copy and paste the image link that it will generate into the thread.
