Default Moisture in the air affect performance?

There has been lots of moisture in the air lately, does anyone find that this has any noticable change on how their car runs? Or the cold mornings in general?

They like the cold, or at least mine does.

Should increase performance once the car is warmed up!

the cold damp air will mean that the air is more dense & can therefore hold more fuel vapour.

Noticed a decided rise in noise and pops with mine especially on a cold morning, and once she's all warmed up - bring it on (preferably without snow ! )

A little moisture (+ cold) makes for denser charge, so more power.

For optimum performance you want low inlet temperature and high outlet temperature for all engines (Carnot's cycle)

MAF hates the smell of water, so not good if too much. Have been thru' proper mudholes (rallying abroad) with a snorkeled car, any small leak and the car dies out.

Colder air - cooler engine
Damp air - better fueling

These conditions - really do make a big difference sometimes.
