DTA E48 EXT ECU
Dont know if anyone on here can help but my mate has a problem with an ecu.
The car is a Dax Kamala with a Ford Cosworth Engine in it. Although it has a DTA E48 EXT ECU which is not a standard item.
Having had the car mapped at Interpro in Bristol as it was suffering problems with cutting out on boost etc they have determined that the ecu is faulty and say it will cost nearly £2k to get a new one and map it etc so it runs fine.
Does anyone have any ideas where you could something like this in the Bristol area at short notice or any alternatives?.
If you need more info about the engine/ecu etc please ask and i will foward it on to him.
