Default Pointless Car Equipment

On the back of the "Bright Button" thread i thought i'd ask anyone what the most pointless-silly equipment / gadgets you have ever come across in your cars, be it subaru or any other car you've owned?

Years ago I was given a courtesy car while mine was in for servicing.

It was a Datsun Bluebird. It had a warning light on the Dash that lit up illuminating the word "BRAKING", every time you pressed the brake pedal.

Why?

A mate used to have a Starlet thingy and on the dash was an economy light that lit up when you did more than 2000 revs or something.

A knocklink...?

comes in handy when you driving into the sun... you have to remember to pull it down though.

being serious I know it's not perfect but it's better than nothing.

Shogans also have a pitch guage to let you know if you are about to roll over. Some had a little red mark on the scale, which meant you were immenantly to be on your roof. Rather than giving a fair warning I think its a bit late to let you know that mid roll!

Car horn. Only ever used
By taxis outside someone elses house.
3 times for ppl to say goodbye when driving away - I know you're leaving. I just said goodbye to you before you got in the car.
To tell ppl who were in the way that they have already driven like a w@nker. Like they care
