Keep seeing version 3, version 2etc... I have got a standard 03 Sti which catagory does mine fall into. This is really confusing and nobody tells you this type of info when u buy them can u help.

Japanese market Classic STIs were named by version number: hence STI3 or STI V3. Subaru stopped naming STI models in this manner when they introduced the New Age cars (the last Classic was the STI V6). A year after introduction in Japan the STI Type-UK was launched. Some people insist on calling the Bug Eye ('02) New Age car the STI7 and the Blob Eye ('03) New Age car the STI8, which is a nonesense.
