Default 53 plate WRX STI PPP help req

Hi Fella's,
sorry to bother you..After a long search I have recently purchased a 53 plate Type UK WRX STI with PPP ..i have the Cert and would be interested to know if the PPP includes a suspension upgrade? (The car has a round tailpiped Prodrive exhaust)The reason i ask is the car handles well with no body Roll or loss of grip but appears to be a little unstable at high speeds (on a private test track)..its fine around 80mph but doesnt fill me with confidence above that..Its running the PPP speedlines with P sport tyres..

So my question is..what further suspension mods do prodrive offer? and whilst i spending some christmas money (stolen from the kids prezzie list) can i lower the car a little? it currently appears to sit like a Range rover..

Many Thanks in advance

steve

the PPP doesn't include the Suspension upgrade

If you have had it there should be a little sticker advising about it in your service book

Push it too hard and it will understeer like a pig. Its an Impreza trait.

Nope. Prodrive suspension is an extra. And an expensive one at that. I went for the Prodrive springs and a front strut brace. The car is lowered by 25mm and is now a lot better around corners. Not sure that a stamp is placed in the service book about having it done though Dealer never put such a stamp in my book when I had it fitted.

There is one advising it has the Mod and the Bumpstop should be changed if the springs are replaced

Just checked my Service and Warranty Booklet. And I have no such thing

And the springs were done at a proper U.K. Dealer as well.

And I quote

WR Sport engineered by Prodrive [Logo]

Important Note

This Vehicle is fitted with thr Prodrive WR Sport Spring Package (part no SACC2555). When a front Strut is changed the standard bump stop must be replaced with part number SACC255A

Think the bump stop mod was only for STi's and not for WRX's. So a WRX kit is just springs and nothing to put in the service book. What you got JPOR, WRX or STi?

You could have a set of Eibach springs fitted, (Prodrive use the same springs), and a 4 wheel lazer alignment, like what Powerstation offer, and these 2 things would improve your car's stability.
