Hi all, new to this site can someone help got a 96 wrx sti she runs for 30 mins then the check engine light comes on, no power at all i then take it slow for a few mins and it goes off, its pissing me off a bit. It runs for 5 to 10 mins and then it comes back on-off-on-off??? i know its a stab in the dark but can some one help or shed some light.

Sounds like a sensor playing up, i experienced something similar. If fan kicks in when cel comes on it could be temp sensor, which is what i had a problem with.
Check your error codes by using the leads under your steering column. It will be something and nothing!!
