Default Engine stalling problem

I have a MY00 T2000 UK with mods only being Magnex exhaust system 1st cat with rear decat and green panel filter. The problem I have is when I slow the car down and come to a holt the revs drop really low to about less than 500rpm and sometimes it stalls. Not had any mods done to the car in a while and the car seems to behave like it's just had a lightened flywheel put on and I know it hasn't.
Any idea's as what to do next would be great as I'm confused.

sounds like, and is age for, MAF and Oxygen sensor renewal. Sounds like one is on the way out.

I agree and to check if it's the maf unplug it with the engine running, if it hesitates then continues to run, it's usually a good indication that it's knackered. That was the circumstances with mine and when I fitted a new one, the difference was night and day.

Also if your MAF's knackered, dont run with a lot of boost until it's fixed or you could end up with detonation and a fooked engine

I was thinking that the problem was either an ECU or MAF sensor problem so will will take it to CAS at Bebington for them to look in to the problem further.

Hi

Mine had the same problem one month ago (MY00 Turbo UK) . To start it all off i forgot and left the interior light on while it was in the garage i don't use it all week so the battery was dead i charged it up then it had the problem slow down at a junction revs drop very low and sometimes cut out . Took it to Subaru4You in Newbury lots of people reccomend him and i have used him for along time he plugged it in to his computer . The O2 sensor not working so he replaced that then also had to do the MAF sensor then it all worked fine .

I knew the MAF was about £85 but i was quite shocked at the price of the O2 sensor £132 add on top of that 1 hour labour a total bill for £262
The parts he used were genuine Subaru but not what they would charge .

Sounds like once you have these parts done your car will be back running fine .
