Default exhaust tweeting!!!

I have recently fitted the standard full exhaust onto my WRX and have noticed the exhaust tweeting!!!

If you give it a light rev, when dying back down to idle it tweets on and off about 5-6 times. Now I know the noise is made by the standard DV but should it do it repeatadly? Never noticed any noises before I took it off and fitted my Ninja downpipe system. Is this a indication of a dv fault as it happens more than just once? Car is totally standard engine wise.

happened to my blob eye with the standard pea shooter on, but this was after some substantial mods..
exhaust was making the noise not the dv

the noise is coming from the tailpipe but I was told it is caused by the dv. just wondered if it indicates a fault. Sounds as if it is opening and closing 5-6 times when dying down from a light rev.
