Holy crap!!! what you need is some adapter brackets!! I suspect though that the size of the calipers will mean you need mahoosive wheels!!!!

although the calipers are mahoosive , they use the same pads as the Gold STi calipers , so you could save yourself a shed load of work and just fit those

**** me mate !!! I think their is a good reason why they are on the range rov er...bloody big car and bloody big wheels.

While I applaud your idea, I think that the weight, hassle and high liklehood of it not clearing any wheels you buy, will make it a no no.

They look lovely though

The RR sport weights about 2.5 tons. Your scoob is about 1.8 tons. I rekon they will be too sharp, you will run the risk of locking up every time you touch the brake pedal

Deffo would not reccomend this as any failure would be catastrophic (and I'm not exagerating) think of one caliper operating under full strain and the other failing and you may start to get the idea . Only attempt this if you have access to an engineering firm. The stresses they would be under, torsional, temperature, degradation are massive.

Last time I looked at a set of these calipers they were feckin' heavy!

They'd knacker up the unsprung weight of your front suspension, as well as generally being a "bad idea" for the reasons mentioned above.

Stick em on Fleabay and put the cash towards a decent set of brakes made for the Scoob would be my advice.

Cheers,
Steve

Unspung weight would be fecked up by the aftermaket wheels anyway

If you can get some good billet steel and are a dab handy on the turning mill you could knock upsome decent brackets - certainly as good as anything you would buy off the shelf for conversion kits.

If they were free, I'd try it. But otherwise I wouldn't brake my back over trying to get the things to fit - the're just too damn big!
