Unhappy BABY FRIENDLY CAR

We went to get a pram yesterday and took the wifes Puma - the boot is too small fo a pram!!!!!!!!!

So, on a budget of £4k - 5K, what would you recommend that will be able to fit a pram in etc but is still relatively cool for the wife?

PS - My scooby is staying!!!

your scoob is the perfect family car - you get the best of both worlds!

Meant to say, the scoob is used by me during the day (she is banned from driving it!!!)

She will need a car to get around during the day while I am at work to travel around with her, the baby and the pram.

Would rather not go for a MPV/ people carrier - not cool enough!!!

Guys, thanks for the PM's. We all love our babys (Scoobies and of course little babies!!!)

Even if I could get the pram chassis in the boot of the Puma, the air bag cannot be switched off in the Puma and so the baby cannot go in the front seat which is not much use. So the Puma needs to go for 4-5k (not researched its value yet

Her brother is selling his Focus ST 170 for a family reduced rate so we might go with that - shame as the Puma is a cool car for a bird!! It is even good fun for mr on occassion!!!

The mrs has a Legacy B4 Twin Turbo for her and the sprog boot fits the Mutsy (Quite large affair) in the boot easily

Estates are just as quick but a bit bigger

Not a bad estate in cannock for £4295

I do have an Alfa 156 2.5 V6 that fits prams in great for £2250
