just joined up, and thought I'd say hello.
Pick up my first impreza tomorrow.
1999 UK wagon with prodrive gearbox and pipe.
Not my first subaru though, had a UK legacy turbo (great car), and a twin turbo import legacy (nightmare).

yeah quickshift gearbox, apparantly prodrive.
the twin turbo came up with a failt code which no one could cure.
it was fault code 66, which just refers to the twin turbo system. The trouble is there are so many vaccuum and pressure pipes, and solenoids to operate the system that the problem was never solved.
I even drove 90 miles to Central Subaru, who have lots of experience with imports, and speant a whole day there swapping parts and still left scratching my head.
