Angry car broken into at cardiff wrc

hi all our car was broken into in ncp carpark david st during the special stage.
tomtom was taken, the bracket was not fitted to the window but police say that the scumbags would of seen the water mark left by it and assume there is sat nav in the car !!! four other cars were broken into acording to ncp
hope it was not any one on here.

they smashed drivers window so very cold drive home to kent !!!

Gutted mate, unfortuately i'm not surprised though, especially with that car park.

Even if you hide your mounting bracket it best to wipe the window down with a pad to leave no signs

On the bright side, if you'd parked in Swansea you'd have had your car nicked as well.

Yeah, you buy a new window and more film. But at least if you've left anything in your car, it will probably still be there.

Sympathies mate, this happened to me a few weeks ago. Smash n grab for a road angel. Thieving *******s will take anything. Fortunately autoglass sorted it for me at home on a Sunday, top job to. The feckin glass gets everywhere though doesn't it

If Pentagon fit the film, they re-fit the film on the new window free of charge.

the glass sure does get everywhere !!! the windows were tinted which kept the cubes together a little bit
does any one know if it is possible to de-activate/block a tomtom 300?
i haved looked on tomtom website but there is no mention of this being possible

Not much consolation, but last year, we followed the last of the production class cars down to Cardiff and arrived about 10 minutes after the start of the special stage. Therefore, not knowing Cardiff at all, parked on the kerb on the opposite side of the road right outside the front of the stadium. No problems there at all, there were police everywhere!
