Advice re front splitter
Hi,
I am about to purchase an STI front splitter for my soon to be arriving 06 plate STI. There are several companies that sell these, most seem to be made from GRP but one claims to be made from ABS. Which in your opinion is the better? The general consesus in the past seems to be that the ABS ones are better quality.
Scott lowe is GRP and Miltec do one in ABS. Both are the same price.
Opinions please from those who have any of the above 2 types.
Thanks, Chris.

Blimey, Nearly all the ones I have found are £150 plus about £10 or less for delivery. I,m sure if its from Litchfields then it would be of very good quality. Perhaps the genuine Subaru part appears flimsy when it is not fitted to the car.

yes I did see the pics of your car, Nice motor mate same colour as mine. I'm seriously thinking of modding mine and sod the warranty, I;d love to get 360 out of mine and I can afford it so it's very tempting.

Still undecided which type to get, are there anymore people who have anyone of these who will give me their opinion. Especially if you have bought one from either Milsport or Scott Lowe.

Scott Lowe all the way, fitted one last month and no regrets apart from having to watch out for kerbs when I park front first, they are flimsy out of the box but once fitted do toughen up.

Thanks guys, some good responses. I think I will email scott to see how quick he can deliver one.
Jakeob, Whats the sound like on your exhaust, The 06 STI is a bit tame in the sound department, I would like to hear the burble but don't want the neighbours upset and dont want it to be intrusive in the cabin.

my hubby, cw42, has one from ht autos in newmills, and I'd recommend you get one as it was relatively cheap, and he's already broken it on a kerb!
Luckily the repair was inexpensive, but it just serves to remind you that they are in a very vulnerable position on the car, and easily broken
