Hi all, i'm considering buying a MY07 WRZ Import (i'm being seduced by the 15-16k priace tag )

i've done some searching on the forum and it seems the warranty situation is okay, i've checked insurance and its reasonable... the only downsides is PPP might be out of the question. TBH i'm not that fused as i have some other weapony to use at the weekend (this will be a daily hack 16k miles a year).

however i would like to get that fantastic exhaust note i keep hearing i heard a MY07 and 06 at track event a couple of weeks ago and the standard exhaust note is a little tame (what exhaust note)...

so my questions are what do i need to unleash that great sound an also what effect (if any) would it have on warranty etc?

Hi fella dont bother with a wrx your better of with a my05 spec c if you plan on modding and doing trackdays.

Hmmm, right basically the warranty will stipulate something like the following:-
No modifications, if so that invalidates warranty.
No timed events, if so that invalidates warranty.
See where im going
Bascially modify and your insurance will go up (and your warranty will be void).
