Front component speakers in a classic
Hi,
I am unsure what size speakers will fit my year 2000 classic. What size do I want and what size won't get in the way of the windows when they go down?
Can anyone post a link of where best to buy them. I am looking to spend £80 ish.
Cheers

I have Infinity 6010CS in my MY00 classic, they fit in the original plastic mounts but you need to cut about 5mm off the back of the hood that covers the back of the speaker so the magnet will fit the surround.
If you gimme your email address I can send you some pics of what I mean and also of mine fitted.
Basically you need 160 x <59 if you get what I mean

6" will fit directly but if u get a decent speaker the magnet will probably get in the way of the window mechanism,to combat this simply make an mdf template but 10mm thick and mount over that
