where to put axel stands??
Hi at the weekend i am taking all the brakes off my00 v6 sti, and sending them awat for a refurb.

For the rear put a thickish piece of wood between your jack and rear diff and jack up. Then place your axle stands where you would normally jack the car up if you were changing a wheel. Not sure of the front as I've only jacked up the rear but I guess its similar.

cool that sounds a good start, i was thinking about putting the axle stands there, but v good bit of info about jacking it up on the rear diff!
