Was having a close look at my MY06 WRX rear plate yesterday, don't ask why, and noticed a gap above the plate where the plate lights are. I'd not notcied this before and wondered if something had dropped off ?

I'll get a piccie to post, anyone noticed it before ?

i dont think anything has dropped off, i noticed this a few years back while working under my old 00 model, seems like it is just cost cutting ,ie they might save 3p in plastic for every 5 bumpers they make! you dont see that part normally, so it may as well not be there!

i remember something similar on my old wrx, and the sport i had before it, so i wouldnt worry. plus your saving 50grammes on the track.

Noticed it as well when washing the car, I thought that it might have an effect on the air flow under the car...just a thought

obviously I don't wash mine too often, as you can see from the piccy !!
