removing graphics
ok , anyone know how good the paint on an my98 turbo 2000 is....
i bought mine with the swrt graphics on ( not full just side/bonnet and tailgate swosh ) they are grey on a silver car and are supposed to be tonal - look ok at night or in poor light but in the sun they just look faded.
not a big graphics fan anyway but car was too nice to turn down otherwise...
if i remove the graphics will it affect the paint underneath ?? dont want it left looking like these vans you see that have had there original signwriting removed but the paint underneath still make seeable if you get what i mean....
also whats the best method for removing them ??

will probs have some paint fade underneath but you can remove without leaving glue residue etc use a hair dryer and heat the vinyl up then will peel right off, but imo i would leave them on coz of paint fade

thjanks for the advice - not sure i want to tackle it myself in case i f*ck it up !.....
gonna take it to a local signwriter who does lots of commercial vehicle graphics and see if they can do it ! .... if not ill wait until summer ! to cold to be outside with a hair dryer now !

The best way to remove is heat
First nice warm water wash then a hairdryer to really make the graphics soft
Then carefully pick them off PATIENCE IS THE KEY
Something like Autoglyms tar remover can be used to remove any stickyness left
Once removed a good polish and a quality wax or sealent should see your car restored
