Hola

The bumper shape shouldn't make any difference,I'm pretty sure they're the same anyhow

..get a diffuser P/No 91225fe000
and a bracket P/No 91285fe000(total cost £83)

maybe one of these too
from Japanparts

If not you will need to drill two holes into your wheel well....some pvc piping to act as a spacer(the ends cut at an angle to compensate for the radius of the inside of the boot)and some M6 coach bolts.

https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/i...r-diffuser.JPG

You will also need to drill 2 holes to attach the bracket...no big deal tho.Its just a thin plate to go thro but it will need weather proofing afterwards.

..Sounds worse than it is really, just take your time lining it up

and theres a few threads on NASIOC about fitting one

hth,Jon

Diffusers work by expanding air into a larger space lowering pressure and therefore producing downforce. To work effectively the downward strakes have to be virtually touching the ground so that air can't rush into the area if lower pressure from the sides.

On a Scoobie the diffuser is very small and about a foot off the ground, you will produce a downforce equal to no more than the weight of the plastic device bolted on the back of the car. Save yourself £30 and fit a bag of cement in the boot, you will produce loads more downforce than bolting on a pathetic bit of plastic to the underneath of the boot floor.

We fitted one to a 2005 wrx sl a couple of weeks back, basically the same fitting guide as elmer's,the under bumper lip is the same, and already has two nicely positioned holes in place,

you will need to drill through the underside of your wheel well,we drilled two holes, and the diffuser is nice and secure, the job should take around half an hour if you use the right type of drill bit(which we were not ! DOPE)

easier if you put the car up on a set of ramp's,we had to park the car on a slope so we could get the drill upright under the wheel well
