you can buy the little cardboard tree type(forgot their name), and they now do one called"new car smell" or summat like it anyway.

I think if you have the bodywork service done it smells new again, but it's an expensive way of going about things.

Just as an extra note, the person who owned my car before me obviously smoked as I cannot get rid of that VERY slight smoky smell, other people say they can't smell it but I can...........what will get rid of that? It has been made worse from when the coolant system was leaking and filled the car with burning coolant smell............

The inside of mine always smells like leather.
I don't use magic trees or any of those stinkysmellgood things.

To get the car stinking nice again, clean the interior thoroughly. After a week or so it will be smelling nice again.

Forget the "Wunderbaum" trees, they smell awful.
Only one thing worse than the smell of sh*te, and it's the smell of sh*te mixed with perfume.

I think the actual "new car" smell is the glue that is used for interiour panels etcetera. Now if you can get hold of that glue.......

Forget air fresheners. best is a car upholstery freshener that you buy from Halfords and spray onto the carpets and seats. warning though the stuff is v strong if you use too much and can set off allergic reactions.

Cut a lemon in half & put each half under each front seat.
The acid destroys any bad smells - smoke included.....apparantly.

You could allways try that FREBREEZE stuff - i think i spelt that wrong!.

Very good for getting rid of tobacco smell.

Be warned though, i have hayfever and that stuff really brings it on!
