Default help with tie rod end

Hi can anyone tell me if the tie rod unscrews from the steering rack end on a 1995 sti any help would be great cheers..........

I Take it you mean Track Rod End. Yes it does unscrew, But normally there a Bitch to undo & require some heat on the Lock nut Etc to get them to budge.
There are normally some flats on the Track Rod & on the threaded rod that goes into the Steering Rack Gaitor, Use a spanner or a good set of grips to secure the rod & then crack the locking nut (Maybe a left hand thread !!! Some where). Remove the Lock nut off the top of the Track rod (may have a split pin in the Nut) If you don't have a Track rod splitter, Leave the nut just proud of the thread & then hit it with a hammer to drift the rod through.Then crack & wind off the track rod end, Counting the full turns Etc to enable a rough guide of refitting in the same place. Once replaced get the car tracked up again.

to be honest mate im not sure nomally you should be able to tell by looking at it to see if it has any flats on it for gatting a wrench to fit it
