Question

Hi,

A while back someone was selling these bulbs for a pretty good price.

I ordered a pair, but I've noticed today that one of them is blown.

Can anyone remember the contact details of the bloke that was selling them (some garage 'down south' if I remember correctly).

Thanks,

Andrew.

Was it Andy Batters, of Macs Garage, Ilkley, Yorkshire by any chance? Telephone no. 01943-608892.

Andy has been selling bulbs to IWOC members for some time. As well as a roaring trade in the +50% (clearing the stockists out on a number of occasions), he is due to get some +60% GE bulbs in for evaluation. Price yet unknown.

Regards

Steve

Try www.powerbulbs.com aka fosmo

I've got a set of these on my MY98, and they are very good - noticably whiter and brighter than the oem bulbs.

Cheers,

Alex

Steve,

Thanks, that the one

And Paul, don't know about 50% brighter, but they are noticably brighter and whiter than the standard bulbs. They bring the headlights up to an almost acceptable level, and this is why I have no hesitation in using them again ...

Andrew.

Question

Am I right in thinking that even though the haedlights were revised on the '99 Impreza's the builds inside remained the same as before?

Lightbulb

The bulbs were H4 in the MY99/00 revision. It was only a reflector/lense change.

Last price I had from Andy Batters by the way for the +50% was £15 the pair incl. of postage (to the UK), the +60% GE are £16.16 incl.

He also does other sizes, for instance I have just sent him an order for some replacement H7 for the P1 driving lights. H7 plus 50% are £23.83 a pair.

Steve
